Art for Seniors
May 2025

We are happy to share that the inaugural session of Silver Harmony took off on a meaningful note on 18 May 2025 Sunday with a therapeutic art workshop for our seniors, focused on painting oil lamps.
I also want to share that the seniors participated with enthusiasm, engaging not just in the art portion but also in lively conversations and connections that made the session all the more special.
The session was facilitated by Ms. Letchmy Ganapathy from Soul Art.
The atmosphere was filled with warmth, energy, and laughter. It was heartening to see the seniors express themselves creatively while bonding with fellow participants and volunteers. Their sharing at the end of the session reflected a strong sense of appreciation and a desire for more.
This marks a good start to our journey in building a supportive and engaging space for seniors in our community.
A big thank you to all who helped make today happen; from volunteer facilitators to those who supported in planning and outreach. We will continue to outreach and onboard more seniors in the coming weeks/months and hopefully rolling out a regular schedule of meaningful, inclusive activities.
We would also like to extend an invite to everyone here to join in as and when possible as well.
Our next session, Laughter Yoga led by Ms Raja Letchmy, will take place next week, and we’re excited to carry this positive energy forward.
