Held on the first Saturday of every month for the past 22 years, food is cooked in our Temple, Sri Muneeswaran Temple, blessed, packed and delivered to homes of our elders and the needy in the Queenstown vicinity.
Generous donors sponsor the food costs each month.
Starting with just 20 families, today the program feeds close to 100 families.
The program has been extended to feed the same families every weekend, thanks to collaboration with Sri Ruthra Kaliamman Temple, Sri Thendayapani Temple, Sri Mariamman Temple/Sri Sreenivasa Perumal Temple.
